An Exciting Hobby for Young and Old! 🚗✨
At our club, you can experience the fascinating world of radio-controlled car racing – whether you're just starting out or already an experienced driver. Whether as a driver, spectator, or simply curious – everyone is warmly welcome!
We’re happy to share our knowledge about the technology of our RC cars and show you how much fun this hobby can be. And the best part: it doesn’t have to be expensive! Our exciting races bring adrenaline and great moments for all ages.
Of course, we also take care of your well-being with delicious food from our club kitchen at events.
On the following pages, we introduce ourselves and give you a glimpse into our wonderful hobby. We mainly race on-road vehicles in scales 1:5, 1:8, and 1:10, with both combustion and electric motors.
If you’d like to visit us, just come by – we look forward to meeting you! Everyone is welcome to have fun, discover new things, and enjoy great times together!
Youth Day 2028
And so our Youth Day has come to an end. In glorious, very warm weather, around 16 children and teenagers made their way to MRT Rosenheim with their RC cars. And anyone who didn’t have their own car was able to drive one of our hire cars.
We kicked off with a free practice session, followed by various disciplines and challenges where the young drivers were able to demonstrate their driving skills. It was brilliant to see just how much talent these boys and girls already have!
To round things off, there was of course an awards ceremony and a raffle, with First Stop Tyres and Car Service sponsoring the prizes. A huge thank you to them!
Young people are the future of our hobby/sport, and we’d be delighted to see you all back at the racetrack!
As always, a huge thank you goes to all the volunteers and supporters from our club!
A successful second Alpencup race at MRT-Rosenheim e.V.V.
Last weekend, we hosted the second round of the Alpine Cup. A total of 24 participants competed for victory across four classes. It was a fantastic weekend with mostly good weather and exciting racing action. Thanks to our amazing kitchen team, we were also well taken care of with great food and drinks.
Things got heated in the four classes on our 264-meter-long Wendelsteinring.
The Formula class offered the most racing action with 12 finalists. We are particularly proud of our young talents Johannes Nitsch and Leon Blech, who, despite their young age, were already able to set an extremely fast pace and fought for podium spots. In the end, Günther Grossgasteiger prevailed over Robert Brandlhuber to secure the overall victory. Johannes Nitsch achieved a phenomenal 3rd place. Leon Blech also secured a strong 4th place.
In the 1:8 GT-E class, GT rookie Christian Nitsch from MRT-Rosenheim surprised everyone with a pole position in the heats. In the three finals, however, he experienced issues with power consumption over the 7-minute race. The winner was ultimately Günther Stärk, ahead of Rolf Tannek and Christian Nitsch. A podium all in Rosenheim hands!
The VG10 Alpencup class was unfortunately the least well-attended class, but it still delivered great battles. At the front, the battle for victory was between Michael Müller and Alessandro Strangis. The two traded the lead back and forth repeatedly. In the end, however, Alessandro had to concede defeat due to technical difficulties and finished the final in 2nd place. Michael Müller took the win, and Louis Blech finished in 3rd place.
The VG8 Alpencup class was dominated all weekend by MRT Rosenheim driver Maximilian Vogl. He secured pole position and, despite a major mistake in the final, managed to take home the victory. Due to the mistake, the battle for first place was close with Armin Baier, who ultimately had to settle for second place. That was also a strong result. Third place went to René Sonderegger.
We would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers who have been supporting the event, some since as early as Thursday. Without you, these events would not be possible!

Tiroler Adler – Racing Weekend
The smell of petrol in the air, tight battles and plenty of action – the Tiroler Adler once again had everything that makes motorsport great. For us at Team MRT Rosenheim, it was a weekend that pushed us to our limits but was also great fun.
The track didn’t forgive any mistakes, and that’s exactly what made it so thrilling. We improved with every race, worked really well together as a team and gave it our all right to the very end. 💥
Off the track, it’s the atmosphere that really sticks in the mind: lots of familiar faces, great chats in the paddock and that genuine motorsport vibe.
A huge thank you to AMC Tirolring for organising the event – it’s events like this that make the sport what it is! 🙌
We’re taking this momentum with us and are already looking forward to the next race. 🏁🔥

Successful 2025/2026 winter racing series for MRT Rosenheim e.V.
The 2025/2026 winter racing series at MAC Bad Reichenhall e.V. in Marzoll proved to be an extremely successful season for the MRT Rosenheim e.V. team. Throughout the entire racing series, our drivers impressed with consistently strong performances and fast lap times.
The series was particularly successful in the TW 17.5, Stock 13.5 and 1/12 classes, in which our drivers secured overall victory in the winter racing series.
Another highlight was winning the title of best young driver, which also went to MRT Rosenheim e.V. and confirms the successful youth development work of our club.

Daniel Hiesch U18 German Champion 2025
German Championship – U18 German Champion (13.5) August 8–10, 2025
Five practice runs took place on Friday. Conditions were challenging, especially for the tires and track. After practice, I was in fifth place.
On Saturday, there were two seeding runs and four qualifying rounds. After a difficult seeding (P9), Q1 went very well, but was interrupted by a technical defect. In the subsequent qualifying rounds, I was able to qualify in 8th place and thus advance to the A-Main.
I performed consistently in the three A finals. Despite varying conditions, I was able to finish all races solidly (P6 each).
In the end, that meant 7th place overall and the U18 German championship title in class 13.5.
From MRT-Rosenehiem Congratulations!

We’re really looking forward to seeing the final report on TV soon. A huge thank-you to the entire BR crew for the great day of filming and the fantastic atmosphere!
Stay tuned – we’ll let you know as soon as the broadcast date is confirmed!
